Refund & Cancellation Policy

General Information

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, returns, and cancellations work for purchases made on www.otoecom.com and courses.otoecom.com. OTOECOM provides digital products such as online courses, downloadable resources, templates and recordings, along with professional ecommerce services for Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho account management.

Please read this policy carefully before buying. By purchasing any course, digital product, downloadable material, subscription, training access or professional service from OTOECOM, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Digital Products – Strict No-Refund Policy

Our digital items are delivered instantly or provide immediate access after payment. Because the value is received immediately and digital goods cannot be returned in the same way as physical goods, we follow a strict no-refund policy for digital products.

  • No refunds are provided for online courses, digital downloads, templates, recordings, class access, files, resources, or any other digital product once payment is completed and access is delivered.
  • Please review product details, course curriculum, inclusions, FAQs and suitability before making a purchase.
  • If you need help understanding a product before purchase, you can contact us and we will guide you before you buy.
  • Sharing login details, copying, reselling, recording, distributing or misusing course access may lead to suspension without refund.

Services – Non-Refundable Retainers

For professional account management services related to Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho or other ecommerce platforms, payments are treated as a retainer, booking fee or service fee.

  • Service fees, retainers, onboarding fees and booking amounts are non-refundable.
  • Once onboarding, planning, account review, listing work, campaign work, catalogue work or support work has started, cancellation and refund requests will not be accepted.
  • If monthly plans are offered, cancellation will stop the next billing cycle only. No pro-rated refund will be provided for the current active billing period.
  • We do not guarantee fixed sales, profit, ranking or marketplace results because outcomes depend on product quality, pricing, stock, competition, marketplace policies and many external factors.

Rare Exceptions – Billing Errors Only

Refunds are not generally available for digital products or services. However, in rare billing-error situations, we may verify the case and reverse or credit the extra charge where applicable.

  • Duplicate Payment: If the same order is accidentally charged twice, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification.
  • Accidental Overcharge: If a payment gateway error causes an overcharge, the extra amount may be reversed or credited after confirmation.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If a transaction is proven as fraud by the payment gateway or bank, the case will be handled according to gateway/bank verification and applicable rules.
  • Failed Access After Payment: If payment is deducted but course access is not activated due to gateway confirmation failure, payment status mismatch, technical failure, or delayed transaction confirmation, we will first verify the transaction and provide access. If access cannot be provided after verification, the issue will be handled through the payment gateway/bank process, and any eligible reversal will follow their timeline.

Payment Deducted but Course Not Received

If your amount is deducted but you do not receive the course login link, dashboard access, confirmation email or purchased digital product, it does not automatically mean a refund is approved. In most cases, this is an access or payment confirmation issue and we will help resolve it.

  • Check your Spam, Promotions or Updates folder for the access email.
  • Make sure the email address entered during checkout is correct.
  • Email us within 24 hours with payment proof, registered email, phone number, order ID if available, and screenshot of the deduction.
  • After verification, we will either activate/resend access or coordinate with the payment gateway/bank if the transaction failed, is pending, or was not settled to us.
  • If the payment was deducted by the bank but not successfully received/confirmed by our payment gateway, the reversal liability and timeline are handled by the payment gateway/bank, not as a normal OTOECOM refund.

Repeat Purchase / Same Course Bought Twice

If you accidentally buy the same digital course more than once using the same user details or for the same learner, you must contact us with both payment proofs. After internal verification, duplicate access and payment records will be checked.

  • If the repeated purchase is clearly confirmed as a duplicate transaction for the same course and same learner, we may process a refund or wallet/credit adjustment for the duplicate amount after verification.
  • This exception applies only to accidental repeat purchase cases and does not change our strict no-refund policy for valid digital product purchases.
  • Any approved refund or adjustment may take 5–7 business days or more depending on bank/payment gateway timelines.

How to Claim for Billing Errors Only

Billing-error claims must be raised quickly so that payment gateway records and access logs can be verified properly.

  • Email us at hello@otoecom.com within 7 days of the transaction for duplicate payment, overcharge, failed access after payment, or other billing-error issues.
  • Include your name, registered email, phone number, order ID, payment ID/UTR if available, payment proof/screenshot, transaction date and a short description of the issue.
  • After verification, we may resend access, activate access, reverse the extra charge, issue credit, or coordinate with the gateway/bank depending on the nature of the issue.
  • Bank and gateway timelines usually take 5–7 business days, but delays may happen depending on the bank, gateway, holidays or payment status.

What This Policy Does Not Cover

No refund, return, exchange or partial refund will be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Personal schedule issues, missed live classes, not watching the course, or not using the product after purchase.
  • Insufficient results, marketplace competition, account restrictions, low sales, product issues, stock issues, pricing issues, or business expectations not being met.
  • Digital course access already delivered, downloaded, streamed, opened or used.
  • Service work already started, including onboarding, account review, planning, listing, cataloguing, optimization, support or strategy work.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We are happy to help you resolve genuine billing issues. Please contact us before raising a chargeback or bank dispute.

  • Unjustified chargebacks may lead to account suspension and removal of access to course updates or future support.
  • In case of a dispute, we may provide payment records, gateway logs, access logs, email logs and course delivery records to the bank/payment gateway for verification.
  • Fraudulent disputes, false claims or misuse of access may result in permanent access removal without refund.

Compliance

  • India: This policy follows common practices for digital content, online courses and professional services.
  • EU / GDPR / Right of Withdrawal: The 14-day withdrawal right may not apply once digital content is accessed, streamed, downloaded, delivered, or once service work starts with your consent.
  • US / CCPA Transparency: We clearly disclose our no-refund rule for digital goods and non-refundable services before and after purchase.

Policy Updates

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, payment gateway rules, course delivery systems or services. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date.
